Marketing
One of the recent innovations from Google has been the introduction of xml sitemaps. Yahoo have followed suit with a similar system using .txt sitemaps. These enable you to register the sitemap for the search engine to download from your host server and then index every page url listed on the sitemap. The benefit is that indexing is much more efficient and changes are tracked more quickly because Google tends to download the sitemap daily.
Shopfitter offers a sitemap creation service to you, we generate both xml and txt sitemaps, upload them and the associated Google file to your server (or send them to you with instructions) and then register the sitemaps with Google and Yahoo - all for only £50 plus VAT.
